Chatting with fellow speaker Carla Stef (Holt Renfrew) at #CIC2013
A Saturday afternoon at Equinox Gallery for Philippe Raphanel’s Waters exhibit.
Sunday brunch at The Flying Pig in Yaletown. There’s no better way to start the day than with good friends, mimosas, and delicious eats.

Last night, I had the pleasure of speaking at Careers in Communications alongside fellow professionals from communications-related fields such as marketing, public relations, and broadcasting.
The event was put together by SFU CMNSU, and it was truly one of the most well-organized networking events I’ve ever attended. The format was fantastic fun - it was almost set up like speed-dating, with each speaker seated at their own table. Small groups of students and recent grads would rotate between the tables, depending on their educational background and what professions they were most interested in learning more about. We had time for mingling and chatting afterwards, as well.
Updated March 28, 2013: Great new SFU CMNSU video from the evening, below.
My girlfriends and I tried out @soirettemacaron this weekend (can’t wait to go again). Here’s @gretchyt’s blog post: wp.me/p29dWq-aD
